If you have your Bible, please turn to 1st Peter, chapter 1. We've been in a series that started right after Easter, titled, Holy, Holy, Holy: Encountering the God of the Universe. And in this series, we presented the God who is, the God of Scripture, not the God that you want Him to be, but the God who is. God is not the God you want Him to be. He's the God who is. He is I AM, who I AM, He says. And so, we've been encountering this God and learning about Him and learning that this God is holy. But He's not just holy; He's Holy, Holy, Holy. Today, we want to finish up this series with a message titled The Highway to Holiness. This God who is Holy, Holy, Holy has called His children to also be holy. He says, ''You shall be holy, for I am holy. You need to look like Me!''

As I was studying this week, I ran across a story that Adrian Rogers told a good number of years ago, probably several decades ago. He said he was invited to a meeting with a small group of pastors and Billy Graham was there. This was when Billy was still doing crusades and everything. And he said they came together to this hotel just for the purpose of prayer and the purpose of seeking God's face together. And as they were sharing prayer requests, he said Billy's prayer request was this: He said, ''Guys, would you pray for me to be holy.'' He said, ''I long in my heart to be holy.'' ''You shall be holy, for I am holy.''

Now, being holy doesn't mean you're weird. We have a lot of people in the church that they've gotten that confused, and they got weird down pat. That's not what it means to be holy. To be holy means that you're separated to God, you're set apart for the Lord, that God is Holy, Holy, Holy. He is different from us. He's totally separated from sin. His eyes are too pure to look upon evil, it says in the Book of Habakkuk. So, if we're going to be holy, we're going to align ourselves wit ...
