2 Thessalonians 3:6-15
It was in the early 80's when Huey Lewis and his guitarist, Chris Hayes, wrote a song. It was a tribute song to the working man. It was autobiographical in nature because it had to do with Huey Lewis' own life before he made it big in the music business. He had jobs as a busboy. He had jobs as a bartender. He had jobs as a truck driver. He knew what it was like to work for a living. And so, he and his guitarist wrote the song, ''Workin' for a Livin''' And the lyrics say this:

That's why we go to work because we owe. I saw a bumper sticker that, said, ''I had a life, but my job ate it.'' That's not very good. How about this one? I couldn't believe it. ''I'd tell you to go to hell, but I work there, and I don't want to see you every day.'' Can you imagine? I've had some bad jobs, but never that bad. Then there's the popular bumper stickers on people put on their car. As they're driving to work, you see it: ''I ...
