From Problems to Praise (1 of 9)
Series: Life Is Hard but God Is Good

Psalm 31:1-24

If you have your Bible, please turn to Psalm 31. We're beginning a new series of messages today on the Book of Psalms. There are one hundred and fifty psalms. The Book of Psalms is in the middle book of the Bible. One hundred and fifty psalms. I want to encourage you to read five psalms a day and make that a practice of your life. If you read five a day you'll read through the Book of Psalms every month. The Book of Psalms is a very important book. It covers about a thousand years from the time of Moses; Moses, who wrote Psalm 90, until the time of Ezra the prophet, the priest, who probably put all of it together. Life is hard. Hey, the rain falls, but God is still there, and the sun is shining, and so, we can trust Him.

Well, to kick off the series, we want to look at Psalm 31. Psalm 31 is a psalm of David, and it is one of the key psalms in the Book of Psalms because it's quoted a lot. Now, David wrote Psalm 31. Psalm 71 repeats the first three verses in Psalm 31. Now, Psalm 71 doe ...
