Today, we're going to switch gears just a little bit and talk about how we can become a SYNCHRONIZED, SIMPLIFIED FAMILY.
For me, one of the most fascinating things to watch in the Olympic Games was the Synchronized Swimming events. Did you get a chance to see that? Wasn't it amazing... and hilarious? These ladies were incredible.
Every move they made from the time they entered the arena was in sync. They looked like robots that had been programed. Then they dove into the pool and every move they made in the water was intentional. Each person was doing their own part to make sure the entire team was moving together.
As I was watching this event a while back, I was also in the process of thinking through this family series... and I'll be honest, the longer I watched the event, the more frustrated I became.
I was frustrated because at that time, I was contemplating the question, ''How is the family supposed to operate according the WILL of God and the WORD of God?'' And in that moment, I look up at the TV and... WALLAH! There it is.
A perfect picture of what it's supposed to look like.
These girls didn't even realize it, but they were demonstrating in front of the entire world how our families are supposed to work.
They were prepared... working hard... together... in sync... they all knew their ...
