Philippians 1:9-11
Well, good morning, everybody. Hope everybody's got a Bible with you this morning and excited to get back into Philippians. We didn't finish up yesterday, but I hope you're having a great day wherever you are this morning. I checked the weather a little bit ago, and it's not supposed to be as nice today as it has been the last several days. We're supposed to have some rain this afternoon. I think a high of about 65 or 68. Let me check. High of 64, actually, today. 57 degrees right now where we are, and close to that wherever you are in the CSRA. And so, I hope you're doing great this morning. And as you're logging on, coming in to the live stream, let me know that you're there so that I can say hi to you this morning. And that way, even though we can't talk face-to-face much, or shake hands, or hug necks, or anything like that, we can communicate. Good morning, Dr. Budding. Good morning, Anna. Good morning. Good morning. Hope everybody's doing really well.
Got my Cancun mug with me this morning. Every fall, I get to go with some pastors and our wives, and rest and relax a little bit, but then also get to spend time with pastors of other churches, kind of like Abilene size-wise, some even larger. It's just a real blessing to get to go down there, iron sharpening iron and all those sorts of things. Maybe you guys are there this morning, bright and early and bushy tailed and everything this morning. Man, good morning.
I hope you have your caffeine with you this morning. I've been on a tea kick lately, and I'm not exactly sure why. I like coffee. I like chai tea and chai lattes. But my Mom always drank Diet Dr. Pepper in the morning. That was her morning beverage of choice, a Diet Dr. Pepper, and every now and then I'll pay tribute to my Mom and drink a Diet Dr. Pepper in the morning. My wife is very much a Coke Zero girl. She loves her Coke Zero ...
