Philippians 2:5-11
Well, good evening guys. It is 6:15 and I hope that you've had a great day. We're gonna try this with a little bit different setup this evening. So if you cannot hear me or see me, let me know. I'm going to try to use my computer here on the side to let me know that it's coming through, but make sure and that will help me. Good evening, everybody good. It's been a great day and I forgot and left my camera at home. So a little bit different setup this evening. I've got my computer out here. I've got my iPad right here in front of me. I pray that you've had a great day and I'll update you a little bit in just a minute as folks are coming in.
But if you are new to the Abilene or especially the live broadcasts and podcasts that we're doing here lately, last couple of weeks, this is the third of our virtual Pastor's Wednesday Night Bible Studies. Normally what we do these nights is we do an overview, something a little bit more of a summary, it's not really like the devotionals in the morning but more like a Bible class. I was thinking, sitting there thinking a moment ago; growing up in Milan, Tennessee, of course those of us who were baptists, we had our Baptist preaching and the radio spots were basically the sermons from Sunday morning worship services. And then the Church of Christ across the street -very odd in my opinion- they did basically this on television and on radio. They would simply just do kind of a Bible class, not the service, not the worship, not the Sunday morning preaching, but more of a Bible class. And so, that's what we're doing this evening and, I'm a Baptist, not a Church of Christ.
But anyway, glad that you are here this evening. Don't forget this weekend; if you've been paying attention today, we're still kind of adapting. We're still responding is a better way of wording it to the announcement by the governor this ...
