John 11:28-46

We've been walking our way, verse-by-verse through John's gospel on Sunday mornings and we've made our way up to chapter 11, verse 28. When I'm in a book series I don't always interrupt it for special occasions. Part of the reason is that I want to illustrate to our guests and sporadic members that this is what we do each week.

Today's Resurrection Sunday worship has been wonderful. But it's not unique. We gather on the first day of each week, Sunday morning, because that's the day of the week that Jesus arose from the dead.

And this year, there's no need to depart from our book study. In God's Providence, we have before us a timely word on the resurrection of Lazarus. So our 37th lesson is, ''Good News from the Grave.''

Because every Christian's testimony could be divided into 3 parts:
1. The condition before grace
2. The conversion by grace
3. The change because of grace

John 20:31 - ''But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and believing, you may have life in His name.''
