Have you ever been excited in anticipation of something only to end up disappointed and less than satisfied? Let me see that hand? Hands everywhere.
• Maybe it was a movie that you were eagerly waiting to see only to end up thinking, ''That's two hours of my life that I'll never get back!''
• Maybe it was an evening out at your favorite restaurant for your favorite meal only to find the service lacking and the meal unsatisfactory.
• Maybe it was a vacation you had been looking forward to that ended up with an unexpected trip to the ER or you found that the rental company had double booked your room.
• Maybe you ordered something online and you couldn't wait for it to arrive and when it did you were completely underwhelmed. (Talk about my recent eBay purchase).

We all know what it is like to be ''giddy'' over the prospect of something only to be left deflated and wondering, ''Is this it? Is this what I ordered? Is this how it ends?'' We are all familiar with disappointment. To feel something was anticlimactic.

That's the feeling that washed over me as I studied the last part of Genesis 9, the last record we have of Noah's life. Just for a refresher...
• Noah came from a good family, a Godly family. His great-grandfather was Enoch, a man who walked so closely with the Lord that one day the Lord just took him home to be Him. Enoch skipped out on death.
