We have seen the creation of the world, the fall of man, the waywardness of Cain, the birth of Seth, and lastly we discussed the ten godly men that were of the seed of Adam. We walked through the graveyard and saw the death of men that were from 365 to 969 years old. It was possibly one of the saddest chapters in the bible, though we saw glimpses of hope in the translation of Enoch and the revelation of Noah.

Genesis 6 will prove to be a transitional moment in the history of man, as we find all of the godly seed dying off and only Noah and his family being the link to godliness. There is a great probability that the earth was overflowing with millions, if not billions of people, and all of them were deemed as ungodly.

Noah was the tenth man named in the godly line of Adam and Seth. When God chose to save the world, he chose one of the most ordinary men living, his name was Noah. When God wanted to begin a nation of Jews, he picked another ordinary man, his name was Abraham. When God needed a man to lead his people out of bondage, he picked another ordinary man, we know him by the name of Moses. When God needed a godly king to lead his people, he chose the most ordinary man available, we call him King David.

In this chapter we will find God using one man to save the world. When God is facing tough situations he usually chooses himself one ordinary man.
