The King In Our Midst (1 of 8)
Series: In Our Midst: Jesus and the 7 Churches of Revelation
Josh Malone
Revelations 1:9-20

Revelation is a picture of a victorious and returning Christ given to weary, hurting, and struggling people.
Originally... This book was sent to 7 particular churches, with particular issues. In the first 3 chapters two major things happen. John records an incredible vision of Jesus and Jesus gives specifics words to specific churches and their issues.
What we are going to see is that Jesus in all His power and authority is present, in the midst of His church, to discern, the discipline, to encourage, and to empower them. He's in our midst. Today we are going to look at John's vision of Jesus, the next 7 weeks we plan to look at each letter to the 7 churches and what Jesus has to say to us today through that letter.

Today we start with John's Vision of Christ. In Rev. 1:9-20
What do you think Jesus is like? - Maybe you latch on to one particular image of Christ and have a s ...
