Revelations 2:18-29
Jesus is not satisfied with a church being partially healthy. Jesus cares about how we relate to Him, others, the Bible, and sin. He cares about how we respond to adversity and persecution. He cares about how we live. Jesus wants us to be a healthy church. Jesus wants you to be a healthy Christian. There is not an area where Jesus doesn't want you submitted to His design.
Jesus wants us to be completely healthy, thriving, and in line with what He says. This morning we are going to see another church that has areas of health, but a glaring area of sickness. They are too tolerant.
Illus. Beware of Blindspots- Any person and any church can have blindspots. This church this morning has a blind spot. An area that is not flourishing like the other areas, an area of exposure. Do you have any blindspots in our life, in this church? These letters to these churches help us to look for and locate our blindspots.
The big question this morning in relation to this is what is your attitude toward sin? In your life, in the church... do we think about evil, what Jesus does... or like the world does?
