Summarize Series -- Today a solid, faithful, Christ-Centered church.

There are a lot of problems in the church. No church is perfect. In fact, if you are perfect, please don't come here, we will totally mess you up! We are people who that have been changed by Jesus but we still sin and struggle... but are fighting together for Christ-likeness and to fulfills His mission together to help people trust and follow Christ.

We can get pretty discouraged however when we look at some of what goes on at times in churches. People sometimes fight and argue. They try and hijack Jesus' vision with their on. They can fail to love Jesus and people well like at Ephesus, tolerate sin and false teaching like they did in Thyatira. Churches can really mess up, because while Jesus is perfect, we are not. You can read Rev. 1-3 and start getting a little discouraged by these churches and think, ''Is it possible to be a healthy church? To be a good church?''--- Today we see the answer is YES.

So what does Jesus say to a healthy church? This was a church with people that loved Jesus, but their circumstances were not ideal. They were in a difficult spot and had their on set of discouraging things and fears... in this letter Jesus speaks a word of encouragement and motivation... to help fuel them to further mission
Today, I want to encourage you... and motivate you... to help fuel you to further mission.
