Series: David: The Life of a King

2 Samuel 6
As we gather this morning we gather for CORPORATE WORSHIP. - The singing, praying, giving, preaching, obeying ... it's all about gathering to worship God together.
Now we know as Christ followers worship is about more than this... we are to live lives of worship before God 24/7. - Worship is all about how we respond to God... to His presence, His truth. It's about revelation and response... we are to appropriately respond to what has been revealed to us about God.
Worship is our response to God. - Many times when our lives out of sync... it's because we've gotten distracted, or taken for granted who God is. We presume upon God.
We take His WORD for granted, we don't read it. Then we fail to obey it.
We take PRAYER for granted and we don't pray.
We take GATHERING for granted and then 2020 happens and we learn ''Oh yeah, we really need this''
Sometimes we need to RECALIBRATE and understand who God is... so that we RESPOND properly to Him. - In fact, until you have the proper revelation... understanding and experiencing some things about God... you will not worship Him.
