Can I ask you this morning... who is taking care of you? Who is watching over you? Who is looking out for you, your best interest? Who is taking responsibility for you?

Life can be exhausting can't it? There are people to care for, jobs to do, bills to pay, relationships to manage, responsibilities to fulfill, goals you desire to accomplish, dreams to pursue, pains to endure, struggles to wrestle, there are sins to defeat. - Who is taking care of you? Who is looking out for you? Who has your best interest at heart?

I dare say that some of us are exhausted, worried, stressed, filled with anxiety. Some may be so overwhelmed by the last year and the new responsibilities we took on, or the personal struggles we've face ... that we feel a bit overwhelmed. - We're responsible, we are caring for others, we are doing our best, we are watching over our families, our jobs, our friends... but who is caring for YOU?

If you are a follower if Jesus Christ this morning I want to remind you... that God is caring for you. He takes responsibility for you, He is watching over you, He is looking out for you best interest... and I want to remind you to FOLLOW Him this morning. - If you don't know Christ this morning... I want to encourage you... sign up for His care, to join the family, get in on this amazing promise.

Some passages are so familiar... we fail to actually apply them. - In fact, we may be tempted to only apply or think about our favorite part of a passage.

When something is familiar, it becomes comfortable... and it can get neglected and missed.



Psalm 23 is one of the most familiar passages in the Bible. - We can be in danger of failing to apply it. We regulate it to funerals and coffee cups... and we fail to live in light of its truth.
