This is our third sermon in our ''Genesis Series'' and in the end we will have fifty sermons in this series as we teach each Wednesday night chapter by chapter. I challenge each reader to read through the entire book of Genesis and get a good grasp on the flow of the book, the figures of the book, the flaws that we find throughout the book, human flaws that is.



If we withhold Genesis chapter three from bible, the book will make no sense. It would be an extreme change from perfection and paradise that is found in chapters 1 and 2, to the jealousy, envy, hatred, and murder in chapter 4. It is possible that the entire foundation and future of the bible hinges upon the plummet of man and the promise of God from this chapter.



In chapters 1 and 2 we saw God at his best, as he created the heavens and the earth, and lastly he created his most precious jewel, Adam and Eve, and then placed them in the Garden of Eden. It was there that we saw man at his best, the first couple, husband and wife, living in paradise and perfection.



I wonder how long Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden before Satan slithered in and enticed Eve? There are a lot of unanswered questions when it comes to Adam, Eve, and Satan. How old were they before having their first children, how many children did they have, and where was Satan before he slithered into the Garden of Eden?



Let us take an up close and personal look at the terrible fall of mankind.
