A little boy watched, fascinated, as his mother gently rubbed cold cream on her face. ''Why are you rubbing cold cream on your face, Mommy?'' he asked. ''To make myself beautiful,'' said his mother. A few minutes later, she began removing the cream with a tissue. ''What's the matter?'' he asked. ''Are you giving up?''

BIRD seeking to DESPOIL the flock
WOLF seeking to DEVOUR the flock
SERPENT seeking to DECEIVE the flock
DRAGON seeking to DISMANTLE the flock
LION seeking to DESTROY the flock

If the devil's not fighting you, it's because you're:
1) A member of his family
2) No threat to him
3) Part of his arsenal he uses to fight God's people

(13) ''And the Philistines YET AGAIN spread themselves abroad in the valley.''

David had already defeated the Philistine champion, Goliath. The enemy didn't give up. They came back AGAIN and AGAIN. David's response demonstrates what to do when the devil won't give up.
