When God Buts In
Steve Wagers
Acts 13:30
McKenzie wasn't trying to start a theological debate, she just wanted to make a point about Jesus' resurrection. Her Sunday school teacher had tried to encourage her class with the assurance that Jesus is everywhere. But for McKenzie, that didn't sound right. She said, ''I know one place where Jesus isn't.'' The teacher curiously replied, ''Oh, really? Where is that?'' The bright little girl declared, ''He's not in the grave!''
A little boy was asked to explain the meaning of Easter Sunday. He said, ''All I know is that if Jesus sees his shadow, He has to go back in.''
In 1885, General Gordon discovered the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, which is believed to be the tomb in which Jesus was laid. It had been hidden for centuries and covered with rubbish 20 feet deep. When the spot was cleared, and with great caution all the dust and debris was gathered and sent to the Scientific Association of Great Britain. Every part was analyzed, but there was not found any trace of human remains.
God's Not Dead - I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE WAS SICK
A CROSS to be VIEWED - He died
A CEMETERY to be VISITED - He was buried
A CALENDAR to be VALUED - Rose again the 3rd day
This is the 1ST sermon of Paul in Acts. It is considered to be his greatest. The sermon at Antioch. He EXPOUNDS the SCRIPTURE, he EXPOSES the SINNER, and he EXALTS the SAVIOR. He explains what takes place when God BUTS in.
1) God's PROVIDENCE is REMEMBERED!
A) God LED Them in Spite of Their REBELLION (17-25)

God supplied every need. He HEARD them. He HELPED them. He HEALED them. Yet, they willfully rebelled against Him over and over again.
