Christianity is founded upon an empty tomb'' so said Thomas Payne in derision. But that scornful remark is a tremendous truth. Were there no empty tomb there would be no Christian church.

The very fabric and foundation of our belief is based upon that tomb being empty and our Savior being resurrected. The fabric of our faith is based upon a woman finding an empty tomb, leaving the tomb quickly and running to inform Peter and John that the tomb was empty.

Then we find Peter and John quickly running to that tomb, only to find it empty, and then they return to their homes, spreading the news of an empty tomb. Then throughout the remained of that day and for the next forty days the risen Lord revealed himself to his followers.
