Don't Judge a Book by Its Cover
Steve Wagers
1 Corinthians 4:7
In George Eliot's classic piece ''The Mill on the Floss,'' one of the main characters is a man named Mr. Tulliver. Mr. Tulliver finds a book written by Daniel Dafoe titled ''The History of the Devil.'' He is immediately awe struck, especially with the beautiful binding and appealing exterior. Unbeknownst to him, the book is tattered and ragged on the inside. Thus, the phrase was born, ''Don't Judge a Book by Its Cover!''

I dare say no one has a room stacked full of pizza boxes. The value of the $20 you spent was not found in the box, but in what the box contained.
THE CONTENTS ARE CONSIDERED MORE VALUABLE THAN THE CONTAINER
The MYSTERY of the Gospel (3-4)
The MARVEL of the Gospel (6)
The MIRACLE of the Gospel (7)
The Gospel turns
NOBODIES into SOMEBODIES SINNERS into SAINTS
PAUPERS into PRINCES VICTIMS into VICTORS
We may not look like much on the OUTSIDE, but what God has put on the INSIDE is eternal and priceless. Don't judge a book by its cover! God's not finished with us yet.
3 words to consider: Treasure - Vessel - Power
1) The Great WEALTH within Us!
