What Are The Signs? (1 of 3)
Series: The End?
Jeff Geyer
Luke 21, 1 John 2, Revelation 6
Big Idea:

Intro:
The global pandemic. People wearing masks. Some have not left their homes. Businesses have shutdown. Government mandates. Vaccine fast-tracked for emergency use. Is this the end? Believe it or not, we're not the first ones to ask the question. For three weeks, we will find out how Jesus and others answer that question. If it is the end, would you be ready?

In 1992, Harold Camping predicted that the end of the world would happen 12 times. We're still here.
Those outside the church have made predictions made that the end was certain.
In 1910, Halley's comet approaching earth caused a panic. The media stoked the fear with headlines like ''Comet May Kill All Earth Life, Says Scientist.'' A group in Oklahoma tried to sacrifice a virgin to ward off impending doom, and bottled air became a hot commodity.
In 2019, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez predicts that the world is going to end in 12 years if we don't address climate change.
In 2020, Greta Thunberg predicts that we have eight years to save the earth.
