Would you take God's word please and this morning would you turn to the book of Numbers chapter thirty two and in just a moment we're going to look at a very significant verse there. Numbers I chapter thirty two, it's good to hear the pages turn to know that you have a copy of God's word and by the way, if you need a copy of God's word look there in the pew rack if you failed to bring one with most likely there should be a copy there. Now, here in God's word we find a warning, a very simple, concise warning. It is found in one verse, Numbers chapter thirty two and verse twenty three. But if ye will not do so, behold ye have sinned against the Lord and be sure your sin will find you out. Now, there are not a lot of things that we can be sure of. We talk about something, we say well, it's sure as death itself. Well, you can't be all that sure of death. You're looking at a man that may not die. Jesus may come this afternoon and I'll go up without dying. Amen. Well, we say it's as sure as the sunrise. Well, how do you know the sun is going to come up in the morning? You say it always has. Well, it may not. One time God made the sun to stand still. He just may decide to do it again tomorrow morning. You don't know. Haha, I think it will come and so do you but if you really think about it there are a lot of things that we can't be absolutely certain about but there's one thing that we can know that we know, there's one thing that we can be certain about, there's one thing that is a sure thing, no equivocation, no peradventure, you can know that you know this, be sure your sins will find you out. Be absolutely, totally sure your sin will find you out. Now, what kind of sin is he talking about? There are a lot of kinds sins. There are the sins of the flesh, drunkenness, drug abuse, adultery, fornication, there are the sins of the spirit, pride, envy, selfishness, sins of disposition, anger, hostility, there are social sins, prejudi ...
