Our subject tonight is, Knowing God's Will. I want you to take God's precious word and turn if you will with me to Psalm thirty two and here's a promise from the word of God. Psalm thirty two and verse eight. God promises, I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go. I will guide thee with mine eye Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule which have no understanding, whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. I will guide thee, God says. I will teach thee, I will instruct thee. It cannot be more clear. God has a plan for every man's life, for every woman's life. I suppose that the question that is asked more than any other in bible discussions with college students and others when you get right down to the bottom line is this, how can I know the will of God for my life. Because man is a clever creature and he's lost his way in the darkness and it's so sad to see so many, many of them young people floundering around without a sense of direction. Somebody has said that half of our problems come from wanting our own way and now, we need to find the will of God, the way of God for our lives. Over and over again our dear God has promised to guide us. Another wonderful scripture would be found in Isaiah chapter fifty eight and verse eleven. And the Lord shall guide thee continually. And then again in Proverbs chapter three and verse six. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path. And so we have the father above us controlling all things. We have our dear Lord Jesus Christ beside us, , directing our footsteps. We have the Holy Spirit of God within us impressing our hearts and showing us the way to go. And so, listen to me my dear friends, whoever you are and wherever you are in this auditorium or those of by radio, or may hear this later by tape. God has a specific plan for your life. Not just for the minister of music, not just for the Missionary as we pray ...
