Galatians 1:1-24

When I was a little kid, my parents liked to dress me up whenever we traveled. I don't know if it was just the family I grew up in, or if people used to dress up a lot more when they got on an airplane. Often, I wore a coat and tie. Dressing down for airplane ride was navy blazer and slacks. Most of the time, it was a suit for me when I traveled.

On one particular trip to the airport, I was trying to get off the escalator. But my leg was stuck; I couldn't pull it out. Man, the hem of my pant had become caught in the escalator. Scripture describes an even greater release.

Galatians 1 tells us that Christ has liberated us. If you look at Galatians 1:4, it says, ''Who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age...'' God has given us His son Jesus to rescue us. The Bible says we are stuck in our own sin, and ...
