Living the Life Jesus Purchased for You
Lenny Ports
1 Peter 1:18-20
Don't settle for anything less than the life Jesus purchased for you.
People settle when they don't know what is theirs.
People settle when they don't receive what is theirs even if they know what it is.
What Jesus has purchased for us is ours for the taking.
What is the life Jesus purchased for us?
Eternal life - the gift of God in Christ.
Abundant life - filled to overflow (for yourself and for others).
A full life of satisfaction and fulfillment.
A life where we can know the love of God in Christ Jesus, experience the power of the Spirit of God, See the glory of God.
Walk in the Anointing of the Spirit.
It is an Exchanged life - where my sorrows are exchanged for His joy, my weakness for His strength, my confusion for His peace.
It is a life where Dreams do come true, prayers are answered, and promises are fulfilled.
1 Peter 1:18 For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. 19 It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 20 God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake.
