What are the things you do... the things in your life and schedule... that make you the most tired? (examples received from Facebook)
Work. The Gym. Answering online surveys. Teaching school. Grocery shopping. Paying Bills. Kids. Multitasking. Working in the yard. Billy Cantrell said, ''Camp.''

If you'll notice, most of the examples I just mentioned are GOOD things. I find that pretty interesting... Most of us aren't worn out because we're so busy doing bad things or sinful things or unwise things... in most cases, our exhaustion is connected to our good works.

I'd have to say the same is true for me. I am most tired on Sunday afternoons (and I only work half a day).

But seriously, it's crazy how tired I am after preaching God's Word three times... after worshipping with you, after seeing people, and talking to people and encouraging people... these are all good things, but at the end of the day, (I'll be honest) I'm worn out.

And you know what's crazy about that? Even after a day of experiencing amazing God-stuff here at church-on Sunday afternoons, I'm typically at my very WORST.

That's when I'm most vulnerable to sin... my patience becomes low... my anxiety becomes high... my fuse becomes short... when I'm weary, I'm prone to making bad decisions.

And can I tell you something? So are you. Doing the wrong thing... Making the wrong choice... Traveling down the wrong path... often occurs when someone is 'weary' and 'tired.'

When you're physically tired, you're prone to sin. (emotionally, spiritually) All of us are.

I believe weariness is one of the primary weapons that the enemy uses against Christ-followers today.

In [Gal. 6:9], Paul pleaded with the believers in the church of Galatia, ''Let us not get tired of doing good...'' [KJV] ''let us not be weary in well doing.''
