Open your Bible to Mark 10. I remember being in a high school classroom back in the 80's and our teacher was explaining about some of the future technology that we would probably get to enjoy one day as adults. He told us that one day there would be a device in our cars that could inform you as to your exact location and could then provide detailed instructions on how to get to your destination. We were blown away thinking it sounded like something out of Star Trek. He went on to explain how a satellite from outer space would be able to know where you were and then be able to communicate to your device and say, 'Turn right in one mile and your destination will be on your left.'' I remember thinking to myself, ''This guy is nuts. That's crazy talk! That's a fantasy. I mean that would be like having a telephone without a cord or a TV with no knobs to turn to one of the three channels we have available. Ridiculous! Never going to happen. Impossible!''

Well, I was wrong. We now have the greatest invention in the history of mankind: the TV remote. We have access to those satellites in outer space that can navigate us precisely through GPS that is on our wireless, mobile phones. I've been reminded many times that what's impossible for me to conceive or create doesn't automatically make it impossible for everyone to conceive or create. My limitations don't apply universally.

One of the things we have seen Jesus teaching the disciples again and again is that God has no limitations. The God of creation is the God of the Impossible. Whether it be through a loaf of bread multiplying, or a walking on a raging sea, or giving sight to blind eyes, or bringing the dead back to life--Jesus gave overwhelming evidence that human limitations do not apply to Almighty God.
