Mark 10:45-52

Open your bibles to Mark 10:45. An important question every Christian should be able to answer is easily is one many struggles to answer clearly. Here it is: Why did Jesus have to die?

- Most of us know WHERE He died: Outside the city of Jerusalem.

- Most of us know WHEN He died: right around 30 A.D.

- All of us know HOW He died: He was brutally nailed to a cross.

- But many Christians find it difficult to clearly, biblically, and sufficiently answer WHY He died.

Most would say something like 'Jesus died so that my sins could be forgiven' or 'so I could be right with God', or 'so that I could go to heaven'. And those certainly wouldn't incorrect, but they would be incomplete.

One-half of one verse is all we have time to cover. Eight words that change everything. Let's break it down.
