Mark 9:43-50

Your response should probably be 'What do you mean by radical?' That word has kind of been hijacked. Different people think very different things when it comes to radical Christians.
- For some, radical Christians are those who bomb abortion clinics and picket funerals of homosexuals.
- For others, radical Christians are those who sell their homes, move to the jungles of South America, and live in a hut for the rest of their lives solely focused on reaching the unreached tribes with the Gospel.
- Still others think radical Christians are those who go to church every week and put money in the plate.
But you know what Jesus would call a radical disciple? Obedient. According to Jesus, RADICAL disciples are simply OBEDIENT disciples.
