Seeing Jesus Clearly (23 of 48)
Series: The Gospel of Mark
Bob Ingle
Mark 8:22-33

And they would almost always say, ''Funny, you don't sound blind.'' And Turley would always respond the same way, ''Funny, you don't sound stupid.''
Blindness baffles those of us who have sight. It's a frightening thought. And yet, in the bible, we find that there are seven people that we have that we know of, in the Gospels, healed of their blindness. What we're going to see here in a moment is that Jesus almost always deals with each one differently. This one that we have today has a twist in the testimony like no other. We're going to see where Jesus puts His hands on the guy and says, ''Hey, can you see anything?'' What a weird question. And the guy says, ''I see men like trees.'' Another weird response. This is the only place where Jesus then takes and puts His hands on him, and it takes two touches to get him healed. This is the only place. This has caused, as you can imagine, over the c ...
