This sermon is the most vivid interactions between a man and a demon that we have in the bible. I will never forget receiving a call from a neighbor who lived across the field from me. He told me his mother was sick, she was dying, and was in the hospital and needed to see me; I used to be her supervisor.

As soon as he called me I had an odd feeling in my spirit, I asked my church to pray for myself and my son-in-law as we went down to see her one Sunday night after church. I had fasted and prayed for three days before visiting her.

Upon entering the hospital I found her family outside her room, none of them would go inside, and as we entered her room was dark. I talked with her and she told me she couldn't sleep something dark would sit on her chest and choke her. I begin to pray with her and commanded the demon that had possessed her to leave her body and she sit straight up in the bed with the wildest eyes I have ever witnessed, her bed begin to quake and her body begin to shake, I get praying in the name of Jesus and suddenly she fell back in her bed as though she had died.

I begin to talk to her and she began to weep and asked Christ to save her and then she began to lift her hands in the air praising Jesus and thanking him. I preached her funeral about three months later and she never lost another night's sleep and slept soundly until her death. In the next few months after that I encountered two more people that were being choked by a dark figure as they tried to sleep, one was a young teen ...
