How Christian Are You Really?- The Coming Day of Decision

Revelation 13:11-18
We are required to make all sorts of decisions in this life. Some are completely inconsequential. In other words, it really doesn't matter whether we choose one thing or the other, like what we're going to eat for lunch; etc. However, some decisions carry the potential to radically change our lives in both positive and negative ways. For instance, the decision to take that first drink of alcohol has the potential to irrevocably damage your life forever. You understand what I'm saying. Concerning these life changing decisions, I'm afraid we believers have come to a bit of a crossroads. It's my sincere belief that in the not too distant future we'll be forced to make some radically important decisions regarding our faith and the depth or level of our commitment to Christ.
What's at the heart of this concern? It's certainly not paranoia or anything like it. Look at the evidence. Our country is sliding into a radically anti-Christian state of mind. This mindset is seen in every from of media. Even the politics of our day have become abrasively intolerant of our Christian faith and commitments. Some are already being forced to decide between the practice of their faith and the security of their employment.
High School Coach Fired
Former high school football coach Joe Kennedy, who was fired for praying after each game, is fighting to get his job back in time for the season. But, more important, he told Fox News, he's fighting for the rights of all Americans. Kennedy, inspired by the faith-based film, Facing the Giants, started kneeling in a silent, 15-second prayer at the 50-yard line at the end of every game. The Bremerton High School coach started alone, but was quickly joined by his team and oftentimes, members from the opposing team.
