Man's unrighteousness is called SIN and the ultimate PENALTY is DEATH
''Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.'' James 1:15
''For the wages of sin is death.'' Romans 6:23
God is JUST, therefore must PUNISH sin

God LOVES US and has made a way to RESTORE us to Himself.
