''Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.''

(The Pharisees came to Jesus to ask Him a question, probably to trap him and then accuse Him of blasphemy, they asked Him, what is the greatest commandment in the Bible. Jesus reply was what we just read. The Jews called this the Shemah, at least the first part...they repeated it very often, what it said was, ''Hear Oh Israel, the Lord your God is one...Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind''. They considered this the first and most important commandment for followers of God. When Jesus said this He repeated what they already knew...then He added something else...literally to Love God also means you love others...you could not have one without the other. This morning I want to share with you in our Sermon Series, Walk This Way, How John shares with us to respond to this world in Love. First lets PRAY...
