(Well Chets Creek Church, welcome back. It is good to see some real folks today and also to continue to know that a number of you are still watching us online. Welcome to Chets Creek Church. This morning we are going to continue our Summer Series through the book of Joshua. Let me remind you that Joshua is a unique book as God leads Chosen People, the Nation of Israel out of Egypt into the Promised Land. This book is a picture of our personal spiritual journey as well. Let me remind you that Egypt represents slavery and bondage for the Israelites, and represents all people in slavery and bondage to sin. They wondered in the wilderness for 40 years due to disobedience, and this represents Christians that choose to live Worldly lives instead of complete obedience to Christ. Last, the Promised Land is not a picture of heaven, but of the lives of those who choose to live by Faith. As we study through Joshua together, don't miss that application to your on Spiritual Journey of Faith. So before we turn to Joshua chapter 2, let's PRAY.
