God designs valleys for His sheep to grow and sometimes He has to ''make us lie down'' there to teach us how to trust Him. Valleys are much more fertile than mountains, therefore they are needful.
Here are 5 facts about valleys we need to remember:
1. Valleys are INEVITABLE
Jesus promised valleys would come in this world.
Jhn 16:33 KJV - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
2. Valleys are UNPREDICTABLE
You don't know what tomorrow will bring. You must be prepared for the valley after the mountain top.
Jas 4:14 KJV - Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
3. Valleys are IMPARTIAL
It rains on the unjust and not just the ''just''!!!
Mat 5:45 KJV - That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
4. Valleys are TEMPORARY
Peter refers to a ''season of suffering''.
1Pe 1:6 KJV - Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
