1 Corinthians 13:5
I'll not soon forget the moment. Certainly, I've never been more irritated. I thought I was going to jail for the assault of a minor. A friend and I went to a movie. You remember going to the movies - right? The theater was packed, and sitting in front of us were 6 teens. They were being loud prior to the movie - no biggie. But they continued being just as inconsiderate during the previews - and the people around them were getting unnerved. But when the moving started - 1 min into the show, 2 min, 5 min. and they were still going strong, something had to be done. At first, the people on either side asked them to be quiet Then the people in front of them gave them the evil eye, but it had no effect. By this time, my Italian blood was near boiling. At 10 min into the show, I finally/kindly asked them to either be quiet or go into the lobby - and one of them told me to stay out of their business or that he'd shut me up! WHAT? I'm telling you, if my friend hadn't been there, I would've gone over the seats and it wouldn't have been pretty. Thankfully, another patron got security and he escorted them out to a round of applause. To this day, I'm stunned by the disrespect.
If you're just joining us, we're in a series entitled, Love Revolution - looking at the agape love Paul spoke of in 1 Corinthians 13 that God puts in us thru the H.S. so that we can love others the way God loves us.

storge - refers to a friendly affection/preference for someone/something. FE - I love sports or sweet tea.
eros - refers to a romantic, intimate kind of love
phileo - refers to a family/brotherly love - the height of human affection expressed in care/compassion.
agape love refers to a self-sacrificing or God-inspired love - and this ...
