It's hard to believe that we have arrived at the end of our journey through the book of Revelation. We have taken some unexpected turns, traveled some confusing roads, and encountered some interesting sections of Scripture. But this evening, we come to the final phrases of the final chapter in the entire Bible. This is my thirty-third and final sermon through this New Testament prophecy.

My hope and prayer is that you have been encouraged, challenged, and strengthened as we have studied this book together. I'm certain that you may not agree with all of my interpretations and conclusions about this book. And that's ok. The reality is, it's hard to find anyone I agree with 100% of the time. In fact, sometimes I don't agree with myself 100% of the time. But, through all of this, my prayer is that you have grown closer to Christ. This study was more about transformation than it was about information. Have you been transformed as we have studied together? That's my prayer for you.

So this morning, we conclude by quoting Jesus Christ Himself, ''Behold, I am coming soon.'' (ON SCREEN) That's the title of this message as we conclude or study through Revelation. READ TEXT

*There was a phrase that my mom used to say to me sometimes that really carried a lot of weight. She would look at me and say, ''Your daddy is coming home soon.'' Now, this phrase could mean one of two things. It's possible that I might have had a bad day. Maybe got in trouble at school. Mom was reminding me that dad was coming home soon and it wasn't going to be good. OR, maybe I had a great day. Maybe my report card was excellent and my mom was proud of me. She says, ''Your daddy is coming home soon'' as a way to encourage me that I'd receive a commendation when he arrived. The meaning of that phrase changed based upon what I had done.*
