Exodus 15:22-27

A man came up to me after a revival service and said, ''I feel so lonely. I feel so left out. My wife and children have left me. My business is about to fall apart and so am I. I even took a gun and put it to my head with the first thoughts of suicide. Can you help me?''

A young man recently said, ''I don't have any friends. All the kids make fun of the way I dress. My parents are always screaming at me and telling me how stupid I am. They have told me that I won't amount to anything. I don't know what I'm going to do. Can you help me?''

A young wife and mother said, ''I love my children and husband very much. But over the last couple of years - it seems that things have changed. The excitement has gone out of our marriage. My husband comes home later and later. Communication has broken down and there's no respect left in our relationship. Where do I go for help?''

In each of these lives - the same plea flows out of their hearts. They are all really asking - ''Is there no healing for me?

The answer for each person is the same. The One for each of them and for you is - Jehovah-Rophi - the Lord Who heals.

We see the children of Israel singing praises unto Jehovah. They had just experienced a supernatural act of God as they crossed over the Red Sea as the Egyptian army was destroyed.

Exodus 15:18-21 - ''The Lord shall reign for ever and ever. (19) For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the seas, and Lord brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. (20) And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. (21) And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.''
