I believe that every time we enter God's house that it is an opportunity to truly meet God. The true form of worship is when we come to Him and say - ''Lord, what do you want to say to me? What do you see in my life that would hinder my walk with you? What area of my life is not under the banner of Your authority? What can I do to totally surrender my life to You?''
Now - in review - let's look and see what it really means to declare to God that He is Jehovah-Nissi - the Lord is my banner.''

If the truth were known about you - is the banner that you fly over your life an accurate description of your life-style. Your thoughts - your motivations - your inward life - all of which truly tell the truth about who you really are.
How much of each day do you actually fly over your life? Are there sometimes during the day that you take the flag down so that no one will see it?
Are there times in your life that you move away from the banner because the flesh has taken over and you are engaged in a conversation that is not under the absolute authority of God?
Are there actions in your life that do not represent a spirit-filled believer because you have stepped away from the authority of the banner of God?
The greatest need for every believer is to experience God as Jehovah-Nissi so that you can discover how to win in your personal spiritual battles.
