We have seen the different names of God and what each one means.
These names are:
Elohim - God's Personality
El Elyon - God's Position
El Roi - God's Perception
El Olan - God's Permanence
El Shaddai - God's Power
Adonai - God's Preeminence
Jehovah - God's Perfection
Jehovah-Jireh - God's Provision
Jehovah-Rophi - God the Physician
Jehovah-Nissi - God's Proclamation
Jehovah-M'Kaddesh - God's Purity
Jehovah-Shalom - God's Peace
Jehovah-Sabaoth - God's Protection
I. YOU WILL REALIZE GOD'S PRESENCE IN THE MIDST OF YOUR PROBLEMS
1. Difficulties that would prompt such a meeting.
2. Dilemma which prevails at such a meeting.
3. Discovery which punctuated this meeting.
4. Decision which proves such a meeting has occurred.
II. YOU WILL RECEIVE GOD'S PLAN IN THE MIDST OF PERPLEXITY
1. It will be encompassing in its perception
2. It will be encouraging in its promise.
3. It will be elementary in its proposal.
4. It will be essential in its practice.
5. It will be exciting in its prospect.
III. YOU WILL RELY ON GOD'S POWER IN THE MIDST OF YOUR PURSUIT
Once you start out, determined to obey God's plan, then you can rely on God's power.
Joshua, the children of Israel, and many others in the Scripture discovered this truth so can you.
What are the characteristics of God's power?
1. He will give you the power to believe.
One of the evidences that what you have received is God's revelation is that you will be able to believe it.
When someone says, ''I'm trying real hard to believe'' - then red flags should go up and the question should be asked - ''Is that really God's Word to that person?''
When God speaks to you in His Word - He will also give you the power to believe it. Faith is a gift from God - not something you just work up.
