Take your bibles tonight please and turn in the word of God and I love to call the bible the word of God. The bible calls itself the word of God. I notice some theologians like to call it revelation or they like to call it uh, the Pauline or whatever it, but, you just turn to the word of God please, Revelation chapter two, verses one through 7. I will be starting a brand new series of messages on the seven church of Revelation. We'll be saying some words as we go along, but for now we're going to jump right in to Revelation two, verses one through seven, "Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write, these things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works and thy labor, and thy patience, and how thou, thou canst not bear them which are evil, and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles and are not, and hast found them liars, and hast bourne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast labored, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thou first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee or come unto thee quickly and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches; to him that over cometh will I give to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the paradise of God." I am very, very excited about what God is doing in Bellevue Baptist Church and in other churches around the world. And when I think of that excitement I think of a man uh, that I heard at who had a heart surgery, and they told him they had to put a pace maker in his heart to keep his heart ticking along.
