Serve Sunday (1 of 2)
Series: Be Rich

Matthew 9:18-26

Big Idea: Hurry is an enemy of loving and serving and in order to serve like Jesus we need to eliminate it.

Intro: The quarantining through the pandemic has slowed many of us down. We didn't feel like we were hurried, rushed, or pushed. We spent more time with our kids than we've ever spent.

For some of us we've been busier than we've ever been so there wasn't much of a quarantine. We are rushing to get business operating at a high level, re-opened, schools re-opened, and sports going again.

In those moments, when we hurry, how many of us have done or experienced this:
Made a hasty decision that cost you money
Wanted a relationship so bad that your marriage is now a regrettable decision (alone, lonely)
Rushed a phone call with your spouse to keep on schedule-came across as they're not that important
Snapped at your child for interrupt ...
