Intro: There are people in our circles and outside of our circles who need help recovering from relationships These are people that come to us or are placed into our lives At fault or not at fault You know something is off (avoidance and/or anger) Embarrassed to say anything Someone has done something to them They have done something dumb They have done something to someone you know Feel shame because of something they've done Quiet (when you see them) Avoiding Different Angry and that's affecting other relationships (school, work, family/friends, sports) Wear their emotions on their sleeves Can't look you in the eye Negative They approach you about it Want to fix the relationship Willing to do the work necessary Admitting they messed up Honest about the situation We just need to be present and listen...there are people needing help in their relationships whether they approach us or not The tension becomes how much do I place myself into this broken relationship? Are they asking for my help? Are there legal ramifications? What if they're not asking for my help or advice-do I still give it? Will I lose them as a friend over this? Am I allowed to say anything to the other person about this without their permission?
