When I was in all my different corporate jobs, there wasn't a week that went by where you didn't hear the phrase ''it's a win-win situation.'' I mean I heard it ad nauseum. But I have learned that in the Kingdom of God, when we serve Jesus, it's a win-win-win situation. We win, others win, and He gets all the glory.

The Win in our Personal Battles

There is so much footage of all this rioting going on that we have become numb to it. It's putting in the soul of our country and even around the world a spirit of fear. The anarchists and terrorists are seeking to remove every sense of safety, protection, security, and order. The thought of rioters coming to our homes or places of business is causing many people too much anxiety to cope with. It seems as though there is an onslaught from the enemy to try to paralyze our communities in order to take over our communities.

But I have come with some GOOD NEWS TODAY. We must remember that in the midst of chaos and fear all around us, when it looks like the enemy is going to win and take over, the LORD will show up on the scene.

Luke 21:26 people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.'' (ESV)

While these verses from Luke 21 are speaking of the second coming of Jesus, the principle remains true, and it is this: we should never be afraid of what we see around us because WE ARE ON THE LORD'S SIDE and He will fight for us.
