The seriousness of the abortion issue:

-polarizing our nation
-top political issue
-the greatest sin of our nation
The danger of the abortion issue:
-becoming desensitized
-being intimidated
-compromising
-stopping the fight

(A word to those who have participated in abortions)

WHY ABORTION IS WRONG

1. It devalues human life -
Quality of life vs. sanctity of life
Why is human life so valuable and sacred?
1. Created in the image of God. (Gen. 2)
2. Created in the word by God. (Ps. 139)
3. It is an eternal soul. (John the Baptist, Luke 1:39-45)
4. Because the Word of God values it as priceless. (Matt. 6:26;
John 3:16)

Basic problems with the quality of life argument:

-Who decides quality?
-Are the standards of quality internal or external? (joy or jewelry)

2. It rejects personal responsibility!
Personal rights vs. social responsibility (rights over my own body)
