1NTRODUCTION: Paul expresses his desire for the Corinthians as he wishes the love of the Father for them. So important is our need for the Father's love that Paul emphasizes the great importance of it in their lives.
THE DANGER OF DENYING GOD'S LOVE (Importance of Experiencing God's love)
1. Causes a wrongful rejection of God
-Love is the deepest common need of the universe.
-Without knowing God's love, we reject God for something more real.
2. Incapacitates us to understand or demonstrate real love
-I John 4:7-8 - ''God is love''
3. We portray God in a distorted fashion.
-You can only give away what you have.
-Christianity minus relationship equals religion.
