Introduction:
Touch is one of the most significant experiences a person can have.
Touch communicates like nothing else!
Touch of Love
Dr. Leach and Lena Mae

Touch of Compassion
Touch of gentleness
Touch of greeting
Touch of concern

It puts demonstration and definition to cold words!
Nancy talked to me concerning the raising of our girls!
Wrestle with them and hug them for the need your touch!

If they don't get your touch the will seek someone else's.
The sad part today because of perversion touch has become so warped and tainted.

Touch is so necessary in our lives!
There are different aspects to touch.
Touch is Physical
Touch is Emotional

Jesus utilized touch frequently in His ministry!
He loved to touch others and loved to be touched!

Mark 6:56
56 And wherever he went-- into villages, towns or countryside-- they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed. (NIV)

Touch is very important to the Lord!
Three types of significant touches used by the Lord!

I. The touch that Accepts

A. Those who were unclean and who were declared untouchable were touched and accepted!

40 A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean."
41 Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"(NIV)

B. Even those who opposed Him!
Luke 22:50-51
50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.
51 But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man's ear and healed him.(NIV)

II. The touch that Restores!

A. Restored the Dead to life!
Matt 9:24-25
24 he said, "Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep." But they laughed at him.
