Scripture: ISAIAH 51:6-8

The Greatest Miracle of All History!
David Cawston
Isaiah 51:6-8

Introduction:
The most creative act of all is the redemption of our lives and the transformation to change us into the sons of God. This process is called salvation.

Salvation has six phases to it.
1. Payment
2. Forgiveness
3. Transformation
4. Purpose
5. Empowerment
6. Completion

Don't cheapen it by making it a religious act or by believing that it is only an escape for you from judgment.

It is the greatest miracle of all History.

- It was a plan made by God Himself.
- Executed by Jesus Christ
- And brought to fulfillment by the Holy Spirit.

It was prophesied by Isaiah in Isaiah 65:17
"For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind."(NKJ)

And culminates with the promise from Peter in 2 Pet 3:13
"Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells."(NKJ)

Today I want to focus on the first three steps.

I. Payment

- God is a God of laws.
They are not made separate from Him.

This Judicial system that is represented throughout history and Scripture.
It is not an earthly Judicial system but and eternal one.

There is authority
Job 1:6
"Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them."(NKJ)

There is a Judge
Daniel 7:13-14
"I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed." (NKJ)
