Say It: Faith's Word
David Cawston
Hebrews 11:13
''These died in faith not having received the promises but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
Introduction:
Hebrews talks so much about faith. I want you to notice the action of faith, verse 4.
By faith Abel...offered to God a better sacrifice.
Verse 5,
By faith Enoch...was pleasing to God.
Verse 7,
By faith Noah...prepared an ark...
Verse 8,
By faith Abraham...obeyed by going out to a place...
I believe that all of these actions were summarized by my text this morning of confessing. All these transferred what they saw to speaking and then to acting.

Noah - God Said
Abraham- God Said
Sarah - God Said

Romans 4:17
''...God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;''
He asks us to live and operate by the same principal!
Romans 10:8-10
''...The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart that is, the word of faith which we preach; that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.''
We accept this teaching regarding salvation but reject it when it comes to any other promise of God.
There is power in ''Saying it''!
Proverbs 18:21
''Death and life are in the power of the tongue...''
Say it: Faiths Word!
