FRAGMENTED youth and young adult lives are:

Full of misconceptions
Hostile
Depressed
Sensually-driven
Appearance Addicted
Fractured
Bored
Disconnected
Carrying baggage from their immoral personal histories
Broken
Biblically illiterate
Often sincere
Often deceptive


Youth and Young Adults on their way to Christ:
Take different journeys
Own different assumptions, definitions, values
Speak a different language (literally and culturally)
Learn through different mediums (music, friends, TV, etc.)
Face different barriers
Identify with their peers based on different subsets of music, culture, and lifestyle

As those desiring to minister the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to this culture, we must identify and affirm our unique ministry equipment!

Understand your unique life journey God will bless others through your past!
Have you found your God-given gifts, burdens, and passions? Are you using them?
How are you already equipped to penetrate a previously unreached subset of youth?
Are you open and willing to minister outside the flow of the regular program?


God is a PRE-venient God...He always 'gets there first.' We must ask the question:

Where (How) is the Father already working?

Jesus ministered to people that the Father 'gave Him.' He was aware of where the Father was already working as He graciously took the initiative in people's lives. He responded to the evidences of the Fath ...
